Summer is the time to sew easy simple silhouettes. Here in Texas…the weather is so hot…that tight and restricted silhouettes would be painful! I wanted to make a few easy pieces that I could wear in this type of weather. I decided to give McCall’s pattern M7163 one more run…check out the other versions HERE and HERE.
I made this version using a silk jersey found at Michael Levine’s online HERE. I purchased 7 yards originally for another project. (I am still trying to figure out what I will do with the remaining fabric). I made the shirt in less than 2 hours… (had some complications with my needle.) STYLE TIP: The fit and flare denim is extremely figure flattering if you have shapely, voluptuous thighs!)
Ok…I will let this pattern rest for a few post! But don’t be surprised if you see it again in the near future…
