I will be the first to admit that I procrastinate when it comes to starting a new sewing project. One of my cousins invited me to a fashion show and luncheon where they would be honoring some of Houston’s top women in community service and leadership. This would have been the perfect opportunity to wear something new that I made. Nevertheless, between getting ready for my recent work trip and juggling family life, a new outfit was just not in the cards! I had a great time this past weekend with a soccer and a baseball game for my kids and I attended an amazing charity event benefitting the American Thyroid Cancer Association (hosted by jewelry designer Rasheeda Turner of Qi Designs) with my husband. After such a great weekend, I thought that this would be the perfect time to share this dress that I have had in my closet for a while (and never worn)!
